When can babies eat fig?
Around 6 months, once your baby can sit with support and shows interest in food, a ripe fresh fig is soft, sweet, and easy to gum. Remove the tough little stem first. Dried figs are much chewier and stickier, so those are better held back for toddlers and always chopped small.
