Cod and pea mash
9 months+A mild white fish with soft peas, easy to gum.
Ingredients
- • 1 small fillet Skinless cod
- • 2 tbsp Peas
Good to know
Contains fish: introduce fish on its own first, and check carefully for bones.
No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.
Instructions
- Steam or poach the skinless cod fillet until it flakes, about 8 minutes.
- Flake it carefully with your fingers to remove every bone.
- Mash with cooked peas and a splash of milk or the cooking water to loosen.
