Ingredients
- • 1/2 Ripe mango
- • 1/2 Ripe banana
Good to know
No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.
Instructions
- Blend or mash the flesh of half a ripe mango with half a ripe banana until smooth.
- Loosen with a little breast milk, formula, or water if needed.
- Serve at room temperature.
- For a finger-food eater, offer ripe mango in thick spears and banana rolled in baby cereal for grip.
