Peanut-butter oatmeal
6 months+An easy way to introduce peanut.
Ingredients
- • 1/4 cup Oatmeal
- • 1 tsp Peanut butter (thinned)
Good to know
Contains peanut: introduce peanut on its own first, and thin the peanut butter so it is never a thick, sticky glob.
No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.
Instructions
- Warm the oatmeal.
- Stir in a small spoon of smooth peanut butter until fully mixed and smooth.
