Peanut noodle bowl
12 months+Soft noodles in a mild peanut sauce, a tasty way to keep peanut in.
Ingredients
- • 1/2 cup Udon or soft noodles
- • 1 tsp Smooth peanut butter
- • 1/2 Carrot
Good to know
Contains peanut and wheat: introduce each on its own first, and thin the peanut butter so it is never a thick, sticky glob.
No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.
Instructions
- Cook the udon or soft noodles and cut them short so they are not long and slippery.
- Loosen the peanut butter with warm water into a thin sauce.
- Toss the noodles with the sauce and finely grated soft-cooked carrot.
