Peanut noodle bowl

12 months+

Soft noodles in a mild peanut sauce, a tasty way to keep peanut in.

Ingredients

Good to know

Contains peanut and wheat: introduce each on its own first, and thin the peanut butter so it is never a thick, sticky glob.

No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon or soft noodles and cut them short so they are not long and slippery.
  2. Loosen the peanut butter with warm water into a thin sauce.
  3. Toss the noodles with the sauce and finely grated soft-cooked carrot.
