Salmon and pea mash

9 months+

Omega-rich salmon softened with peas.

Ingredients

Good to know

Contains fish: introduce fish on its own first.

Check the fish carefully for bones.

No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.

Instructions

  1. Steam or bake the skinless salmon until it flakes, about 10 minutes.
  2. Flake carefully to remove every bone.
  3. Mash with cooked peas and a splash of milk or cooking water.
