Salmon and potato patties
12 months+Soft fish cakes for little hands, no frying needed.
Ingredients
- • 1 small fillet Cooked salmon
- • 1 Potato
- • 1/2 Egg
Good to know
Contains fish and egg: introduce each on its own first, and check the salmon carefully for bones.
No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.
Instructions
- Flake cooked salmon carefully to remove all bones.
- Mix with mashed potato and a little beaten egg to bind.
- Shape into small, soft patties and bake until set, about 15 minutes at 400F.
- Break into strips or pieces for self-feeding.
