Salmon and sweet potato mash
9 months+Omega-3s and iron in a soft, easy-to-gum mash.
Ingredients
- • 1 small fillet Skinless salmon
- • 1 small Sweet potato
Good to know
Contains fish: introduce fish on its own first, and check carefully for bones.
No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.
Instructions
- Steam or bake the skinless salmon fillet until it flakes, about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Flake it carefully with your fingers to remove every bone.
- Mash into cooked, soft sweet potato with a little milk or cooking water to loosen.
- Serve lukewarm.
