Soft turkey meatballs with pasta

12 months+

A toddler-friendly dinner, soft enough to squish.

Ingredients

Good to know

Contains wheat and milk: introduce each on its own first.

No added salt (a baby's kidneys can only handle a little), no added sugar before age 2, and no honey before age 1 (it can carry a botulism risk). More on salt, sugar, and honey.

Instructions

  1. Mix ground turkey with a little grated onion, a spoon of breadcrumbs, and a splash of milk.
  2. Roll small and bake until cooked through and soft, about 15 minutes at 400F.
  3. Quarter each meatball so none is whole and round.
  4. Serve with small soft-cooked pasta and peas, tossed in a little unsalted tomato sauce.
